In 1980, Colette Russell Houle, a NAIT graduate in Landscape Architectural Technology, founded Terra Landscaping Ltd.

With the help of a second generation - Colette's son Christian, a Land Reclamation and Applied Horticulture graduate from Olds College - Terra landscaping pursued interests in the environmental aspect of landscaping, including land reclamation, rejuvenation and site adaptability. The company focused a large portion of its research on developing the fields of landscape design and construction.

Without sacrificing the company's commitment to protect the environment, Terra Landscaping creates outstanding gardens that are functional, low maintenance and increase property values. Terra Landscaping offers services that reflect the latest innovations in landscape design and construction.
