In 1980, Colette Russell Houle, a NAIT graduate in Landscape Architectural Technology, founded Terra Landscaping Ltd..

With the help of a second generation - Colette's son Christian, a Land Reclamation and Applied Horticulture graduate from Olds College - Terra landscaping Ltd. pursued interests in the environmental aspect of landscaping, including land reclamation, rejuvenation and site adaptability. The company focused a large portion of its research on developing the fields of landscape design and construction.

Without sacrificing the company's commitment to protect the environment, Terra Landscaping Ltd. creates outstanding gardens that are functional, low maintenance and increase property values. Terra Landscaping Ltd. offers services that reflect the latest innovations in landscape design and construction. The company employs qualified staff members, uses high quality landscape material and when available, locally grown vegetation.
